Telescopic Mast "Ecomet"

The Menta's telescopic mast was born in the early 80's from a project by Menta's owners. It has been developed to be used primarily in the field of ecology and environmental surveys. The Mast has been designed handy and functional to be fixed in the simplest way.

The telescopic masts " Ecomet " for their conformation by the sliding of overlapping sections it is usefull to all those applications where it is necessary to use equipment such as sensors, detection tools, measuring etc. .. at a given height relative to the ground.

All the instruments are fixed through the appropriate bear bar located at the end of the last element of the telescopic pole. are therefore possible depending on the type of instrumentation applied, Indexes on air pollution and noise , on the direction and wind speed, temperature and relative humidity in air, on radiation, precipitation, etc...

The telescopic Mast is designed handy and functional to be very simple to install.

All our poles are manufactured in two standard sizes and exactly 7 mt and 10 mt.
However, we can also achieve the same poles for different sizes on customer request but no higher than 10 mt.

You can install any type of instrumentation necessary to the customer as long as you respect the following indications:


LIMITS OF THE USEFUL INSTRUMENTS

Here below you will find the maximum limits, according to the effects created by the wind, for the instruments used with the telescopic mast “ECOMET”. (Utilizations in particular conditions such as bora , storm and wind storm are excluded.

Places that are particularly weathered : mountain or hill crests , headlands or peninsulas that extend towards the open sea, are excluded as well) 

-Maximum exposure surface of the instrument (sail effect) 500 cm2
-Maximum weight of the instrument 4 Kg

If the telescopic mast “ECOMET” is used in area that are particularly weathered or if the useful instruments have greater dimensions and weights it is necessary to increase the plinths and the wind bracing ropes in agreement with the manufacturer

Models Telescopic Mast

There are 5 models, entirily made of AISI 304 stainless steel smooth surface characteristics that can reach a maximum height of 10meters by a crank or with the aid of an electric motor.
The models differ depending on the installation location and custom built requirements:
